PenaGuru.Com– Untuk mengukur hasil proses belajar para peserta didik perlu diadakan kegiatan penilaian terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Kegiatan penilaian yang dimaksud dapat mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta didik dari segi aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka.

Penilaian oleh pemerintah biasanya memiliki standar khusus dan pelaksanaannya secara massif di seluruh wilayah seperti pelaksanaan UNBK (Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer) dan AKM (Assesmen Kompetensi Minimum), Penilaian yang dikoordinir oleh dinas pendidikan biasanya berupa penilaian akhir tahun bagi peserta tingkat akhir seperti USBK (Ujian Sekolah Berbasis Komputer), penilaian yang diselenggarakan oleh satuan pendidikan biasanya dilakukan tiap akhir semester (PAS) dan pertengahan semester (PTS) sedangkan yang dilakukan secara mandiri oleh pendidik biasanya berupa penilaian harian (PH).
